Dr. Xiaoyan Shi received her B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from the Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering in 1997, and M.S. (2004) and Ph.D. (2007) degrees in Environmental Science from Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES), Chinese Academy of Sciences. During 2007 and 2009, Dr. Shi did research work as post doctor in Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tsinghua Universtiy, Dr. Shi is now a research associate in Envrionmental catalysis & Green Chemistry group of RCEES.
Dr. Shi’s research focuses on diesel emission control, including applying SCR system for diesel NOx reduction and using biofuels on diesel engines, and in particular how aftertreatment system and biofuels impact emission characteristics from diesel engines. Also, development of DOC catalyst for SCR system is Dr. Shi’s research interests.
