The 6th International Conference on Environmental Catalysis (6th ICEC) was held at Beijing from September 12 to September 15, 2010.
The 6th ICEC received a total 475 submitted abstracts and welcomed 398 active participants came from 26 countries and regions.
133 oral presentations (including 16 keynote lectures) were arranged in 8 sessions. 10 participants from China, Germany, the Netherland, Italy and Turkey won the best posters award.

The Center for Air Pollution Control Technology is committed to fundamental and applied research in environmental catalysis and its application in complex air pollution control. Our research focuses on the multi-phase transformation of pollutants in environmental catalysis and atmospheric chemistry.

In terms of research methods, we adopt a combination of theory and experiment, utilizing advanced surface science methods to characterize the catalytic reaction in situ, assisted by theoretical model calculations. Based on these fundamental achievements, we try to develop new theory and technology for vehicle emission control, indoor air pollution control, and also for complex air pollution control.


Our specific research interests include:


·         Selective catalytic reduction of NOx: NH3-SCR


·         Selective catalytic reduction of NOx: HC-SCR


·         Applied research on the catalytic cleaning of diesel exhaust


· Catalytic purification of indoor air pollutants


·         Heterogeneous atmospheric chemistry


Dr. He’s group is funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the State Hi-Tech Research and Development Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, the Innovation Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and so on.
